At Animal Kingdom Resort, we offer safe, fun dog daycare services for your dog at the largest facility of its kind in the GTA. Our facility offers 9000 sq ft of open space where your dog can spend their day doing the things they love. Whether they love endless running and playing or simply relaxing and watching the activity around them, all of our clients undergo a health and safety assessment to ensure that our guests are happy and content.
Our caregivers are highly experienced, dog lovers with expert training to interact and oversee dog play, keeping each of our clients safe. Whether you wish to schedule a weekly romp for your pet or require full-time dog daycare, we can provide the perfect environment for them to stay active and avoid loneliness.
Ideal Play
Our dog daycare is supervised by trained, experienced supervisors who not only love dogs but understand their needs. We ensure your pet finds positive interaction with our team, as well as their fellow dogs. We focus on keeping dogs active, but also make sure they do not get too tired or overworked. Our focus is to provide fun activities for healthy exercise and socializing to keep your dog content.
Supervised Interaction
We understand that every dog is different in their needs and temperament. We try to make sure our clients are playing amongst dogs of the same size and temperament. This is so that they never feel overwhelmed, bullied, or overworked. We adhere to a strict policy for good behaviour and will remove dogs that display signs of aggression. Even if your dog has to be separated, we will keep them safe and happy until you can pick them up.

Our spacious play area allows dogs to run free in a safe environment where they can be themselves and keep busy until it’s time to go home. There are play areas, as well as comfy resting spots, so dogs can play at their own pace and rest when they need to.
We keep your pet happy and loved while you are at work in a space designed for activity, exploration, exercise, and playtime with friends. Our perfect climate-controlled indoor area keeps dogs comfortable, regardless of the weather outside, allowing you to drop them off rain, snow, or shine.
Love and Rest
For older or more subdued dogs, we offer a safe place for lounging, where an assortment of toys and loving staff are available. Your pet can rest all day, get in some easy playtime to suit their own pace, or interact with other, less active dogs who prefer a quieter setting.

How Doggy Daycare Works
If you are interested in sending your dog to our daycare, you can set up a trial visit and assessment. This allows us to get to know each other and decide if we make a good fit. Your dog will have to meet our requirements, which include:
- Quick-release fitted collars, up-to-date identification, and Rabies tags must be worn.
- All DHPP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations must be up to date, including puppies that must have their first set of vaccinations.
- All puppies must pass a clean fecal exam.
- Dogs must be free of contagious illnesses and in good health.
- From May to November, all dogs must be on a flea protection program and be tick and flea free at all times.
We require a commitment to one day per week to secure a place for your pet. You can then choose how many days per week work for your schedule.
